The client required a website for her start-up business specialising in pet supplies and accessories.
It was vital for the client to move from selling on Facebook, to her very own personalised online shop. This would include the ability to add, edit and remove listings from a sophisticated admin panel. All purchases would be tracked, with emails sent to the client when a new purchase is made - with details on the products, the buyers address and other important details to make a successful sale.
Other key points were established e.g full mobile responsiveness was important along with the functionality to create a blog post once every few weeks. These blogs would be stored in a database and the client being able to access the controls within the admin panel.
The website was created using C# .NET Core, Bootstrap 4 as the UI framework and Entity Framework as the data access. The online shop was designed to allow the client to modify and add new listing as required.
Visitors to the site are able to add items to their basket and to then proceed to checkout where they're able to pay via Pay-Pal. I've used the modern Pay-Pal checkout API which allows users to pay within the website without having to leave the site to go and finalise payment on the Pay-Pal site.
A blog section was also set-up on request, allowing the client to input new blogs including images for the users viewing.
Finally a simple contact form was added for users to input any remaining questions or queries regarding the business or products.
Jack built my website from scratch and it is a truly fantastic end result. It is a full eccomerce website that is very eye catching and easy to navigate. He has designed it with mobile use in mind to such a point it feels like using an app when accessed via the mobile device. The back end of the website is also great, i can fully edit the site
